Mahogany dressing room stair draws on Asian tansu chest forms, and the craftsman-style tendency to make interior architecture into “furniture.” In a Scottsdale (Fairway I) house whose view is behind arriving guests (out the front door) an interior view was created with components like this stainless steel stair, and an adjacent dining room and pool, to be an eye-catching initial impression. This conditioned wine loft in the Hamptons was placed high in a two story media room so as to showcase a noteworthy collection and to capitalize on the qualities of light, reflection & rich color inherent in wine storage.
Finding no satisfactory manufactured options, this custom diving board helps give personality to a traditional pool in the Hamptons. A spacious bath in Scottsdale (Fairway I) offers a cool escape for a professional athlete. An adjacent exercise room connects to the pool outside.
